E.ON Russia OJSC (formerly "WGC-4"), Russia

E.ON Russia OJSC was formed in 2005 on the basis of five power plants. The company includes Surgut SDPP-2 (GRES-2), Berezovskaya TPP, Shaturskaya SDPP, Smolenskaya SDPP and Yayvinskaya SDPP, with total capacity of 8,630 MW. Another branch of E.ON Russia is "Berezovskaya SDPP Heat networks", which supplies heat to the consumers in the region of Berezovskaya SDPP (GRES).

The Company was founded in March 2005 as "OGK-4". In the 2000s, the major share of stock was acquired by E.ON. On June 24th, 2011 the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company decided to rename it to “E.ON Russia”. The key activity of E.ON Russia is the power production and sale. The Company receives an average of about 2% of total revenue from the sale of heat. However, E.ON Russia attaches great importance to the reliability and security of heat supply, as they are essential to the local consumers’ viability of nearby communities.
